2.4 Reduce pollutants

District of Squamish
• Hired a sustainability coordinator to look at opportunities to implement the UN sustainability goals (ie reducing waste)

Town of Gibsons
• Signed 4 years partnership with the Nicholas Sonntag Marine Education Centre to collect data in the harbour (data collection, surveying, etc)
• Sea to Source project (mapping the entire watershed that feeds the aquifer);
• Working on debris removal along the breakwater
